What is your value to your organization?  I remember when my wife Kim and I  started in the profession and one of our mentors told us that we can increase our total earnings by continually working on ourselves which in turn will bring more value to our group.  We started to realize that if our check rose faster than our personal development and/or skillsets by accident,  it would quickly settle back down because our check cannot outpace our value we bring.

Wow, think about that for a minute.  In economic times when there is so much uncertainty we have the luxury of being able to give ourselves a raise.  Too many people hear stories of large checks and success and think it’s a “get rich quick situation”.  It couldn’t be farther from the truth.  If you see a leader with huge success and a large check, you will see a leader that works on themselves nonstop.

By nonstop I mean doing things like:

• ·       Reading 15 minutes in the morning and night in an area that is improving our skills in this business or an area of our personal life.
• ·       Listening to books on tape while driving.
• ·       Watching videos online that have to do with our industry

The beauty is that there are mounds and mounds of people that have done what you are looking to do and all you need to do is reach out, buy their valuable information…even speak to them.  One of my sponsors that I learned too much to list was someone I reached out to get mentoring from.  Another mentor and author in our industry has become great friends and added huge amounts of value to Kim and I which we in turn could pass along to our groups.

Ya know I flew to Houston, Texas Wednesday to be with the team I recently joined and some of the members of the team are more of a reunion than a "join".  

I spent time meeting with and filmed with one of the top earners of CieAura who, at 27 years old, has quite a   story that anyone can learn from (BTW - you should look him up on facebook and enjoy his story- Austin Tice).  I told him that it's interesting in our profession to be able to see the writing on the wall so to speak and some how find a way to adequately relay the importance of that to others we know who deserve better in our profession.

Having the benefit of hindsight now I see what's happening at CieAura and it reminds me so much of my experience in the early days of Lifemax...and much more...where my wife Kim and I became #1 earners (2008-2012).  I'm not referring to the end of that experience as it became evident that the founders were  clueless and should never have take over operations.  I am, however, talking about the beginning of that experience where the founders masterfully put together a dream team in the profession that attracted me- Paul Rogers and Jerry Yerke ("JY") were two out of that team that were pivotal to our success at Lifemax and were at my first launch meeting on Friday 1st of August 2008.  

Paul and JY were let go by the company a few years ago (when the founders figured they know how to run a network marketing company  :)   )  and I'm sure they look back now and say - WOW- what a blessing, because what they've put together at CieAura will shake the industry for decades.  I told Austin and others during this visit that I wish I could some how explain the power and strength of what is here for so many network marketing professionals - a company that has flourished for first 36 months, has tweaked the compensation plan to be simple, profitable & unique and has over 100 years of field experience at the corporate level -just not normal in our business.  On top of that, products that have amazing science behind them, published in a medical journal, clinicals, ability to provoke almost immediate response with most and NOT something that has to be ingested.  

Anyway, that's my last 2 1/2 days and if you follow just some of what I teach, we should chat because you simply don't want to miss this train. 

Results

How Can I Dramatically Improve My Results in My Network Marketing Business?

• Intensity & Focus while in your time block.  Assuming you have goals and a schedule to support those goals, when in your time block to work your business (prospecting, follow up and appointments), work with intensity and focus.
• Practice.  Yup, practice.  How much time per day do you have set aside to practice with your sponsor or business partners so that it's second nature when out chatting with folks?
• Higher level of Enthusiasm.  People want to follow you first and foremost - not your company, not your comp plan and not your product.  How do you dramatically increase your enthusiasm so you attract others?  Get emotional and laser focused on your personal WHY - your reason for engaging in this amazing profession.
• Belief.  Belief in yourself, your system, your product & your company.  Daily time blocks for reading so you can immerse yourself in constant belief building.

Everyone wants more, but are we willing to do what it takes?

In network marketing ...even real estate or insurance...too many times new people approach their first prospect or two, get rejected, and then never approach another again!  Be careful to get out of your experience only the wisdom that is in it -- and stop there.  Simply put - rejection only shows us what isn't working.  What do you do next?  Tweak and try again!
