How many do you need?

Every day we are simply out looking for people looking.

Our mentor told Kim and I back in 2001 that if we have consistent activity and persistence in trying to find 1-3 people per year who are REALLY looking for a change, we would have a six figure monthly income - over time.

So 1-3 people per year who will do whatever it takes no matter how long it takes to accomplish everything they set out to accomplish - no matter what. This is often referred to as a knock off leader- someone who is running with or without you.

I share this with you because today I was doing all kinds of follow up calls with no success rate whatsoever and I'm thinking - I wonder how many people actually think that we have different success rate than they do?...We don't! We just keep looking.

What are we really doing in the Network Marketing Profession?

Creating consumption!

OK, so what are you doing daily to increase consumption outside of introducing the prodcut and the business to others?

Kim and I make sure that the product is with us constantly -in our home or traveling. Why? To expose it!

We have them in our pockets, purses, brief cases, suit cases, etc so that while out at breakfast, lunch or dinner, Out in the open. ALWAYS. Be a product of the product and drive consumption!

What will you commit to ?

What will you commit to for the next 50 days - on a daily basis - to insure you experience growth between now and year end?
How many new prospects will you approach?

How many EXTRA phone calls will you make? Do you realize if you just said "I'll do two additional calls on my way to work and two on my way home..." that means 4 extra people per day? During the day someone at work will complain about not making enough money and you hand them the info you have - now you have 5 per day.

How many emails will you send inviting people to your self replicating site? How about 2 before you go to bed at night. Each one of these takes approximately 2-4 minutes to do and every one of us can do that.

“So if I do that, then what?” You'll have 100-150 new exposures, you'll have 7-12 new distributors and you'll go into the fourth quarter with a brand new business. What would your check look like if you increased your group and set a new pace for 7-12 new people who each then all invited a handful of people to the event? It would be a dramatic increase.

Lastly, for those of you who are serious about sprinting - email me your daily recaps and let's get some coaching calls in.

Path Finder or Path Blocker?

You know, the Network Marketing profession is misperceived by many and one of the misperceptions is that it is a selling business.

It’s not a selling business.

It’s a teaching, coaching & professional development business. Leaders are developed and blossom if they really want it and rewarded amazingly well financially and otherwise.

If you’d like to capitalize on this simple but effective thought, become a great leader – become a Path Finder. The word Leadership is derived from two words:

Lea – Path
Der –Finder

One of the lovely things we deal with as leaders is the “high maintenance leader” so I wanted to include this on the lifestyle blog as it’s reality!

High maintenance leaders have enormous mood swings – now that’s fun to deal with.

Their inconsistent behavior keeps people on edge, hinders their timing with decision making and takes their focus off of important priorities. It actually wears people out. They tend to think of themselves first which is simply a maturity issue. I’m the ultimate optimist so why am I talking about these challenging types of leaders? Well, I want to manage expectations for you rising leaders that are so awesome so you know what to expect.

In order to be a great leader, you’re always “on duty”.

1. Always responsible , every day.
2. Always setting a positive example.
3. Accountable for oneself, sure- but also for others
4. Subject to others’ exaggerated opinions
5. Must always serve.
6. Valued by Production always.
7. Face continual people challenges.
8. Always thinking of others

Sound like fun? Well, I know that the road to reach leadership is well compensated when you choose to do it.
